Woman arrested after allegedly attempting to open a door on Yucca Valley church property

A woman was arrested after allegedly attempting to open a door at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel.

On Wednesday (August 27) at around 2:00 a.m. security video showed a woman attempting to enter the church through a closed door. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the church, and identified the suspect as Nancy George, 51. Deputies took George into custody and said that no property was damaged or taken.

Nancy George was arrested on suspicion of attempted 2nd Degree Burglary and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $30,000 bail.
