YVTC agenda: $200 may be added to “nuisance” short term vacation rental violations
Short Term Vacation Rental owners may be ponying up an extra $200 dollars in administrative costs if their property is cited as being a “nuisance” when it comes to code violations. The council is expected to review their Temporary Short Term Vacation Rental Permits regulations and consider adding 18 additional points to aid in code enforcement.
As the week’s weather cools down a bit, the town council will also receive a report on the spring and summer programs from the Community Services Department. Some legislative changes to the Western Joshua Tree Conservation Act are currently underway, we’ll hear how that may affect Yucca Valley residents who want to build near the protected species.
The Yucca Valley Town Council meets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1st in the Cholla Room at the Yucca Valley Community Center right off Twentynine Palms Highway at Dumosa Avenue.
