Mojaveland Miniature Golf and Art Center to break ground Wednesday (9/2)
Mojaveland Miniature Golf and Art Center will formally break ground in Twentynine Palms on Tuesday (September 2)
The non-profit project under the fiscal sponsorship of Aha Projects 503(c)(3), will offer 18 holes of artist-designed outdoor miniature golf, art activities, and a sculpture garden in its first phase of development.
To be built on City-owned land that was originally envisioned as a public park, Mojaveland will share a parking lot with Theatre 29 and serve local and military families and tourists. Director and Founder Anna Stump is excited to showcase local sculptors, designers and muralists in the project. Each golf hole will be created by a different desert artist.
The formal ground breaking will take place at noon on Wednesday.
The public is invited, it’s happening at 73637 Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms.
