“Free Little Art Gallery” to open in Joshua Tree with new mural

A new “little” gallery opens in downtown Joshua Tree this Saturday (April 25).

The “Free Little Art Gallery” invites artists to trade their work. The gallery is part of a network of Free Little Art Galleries that can be found worldwide, where all artists, aspiring artists, or lovers of art can trade, participate, or bring home a piece of local art.

Artist Dominique Bass-Terpstra felt this would be a fun community building addition to our local artist community. At Saturday’s event she will debut a new mural, and a new local non-profit cat rescue “Mojave Felines” will be on hand with adoptable cats.

The event is happening at the Joshua Tree Village, located at 6534 Park Blvd. The fun runs Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
