“Like a Dog” curator holding art talk at Hi-Desert Artists Gallery today (7/30)

The curator behind a new dog-friendly art show will be throwing curious audiences a bone with an art talk on Thursday (July 30).

The mastermind behind Hi-Desert Artists Gallery’s current exhibit “Like a Dog: A Look at Selective Compassion” curator Janice Taitel will discuss her unconventional path from the suburbs of New Jersey to curating exhibitions in the California Hi-Desert.

Following the presentation, visitors are invited to meet Taitel and many of the artists featured in the exhibition during a signing of Over the Line: An Exploration of Art, Expression and Activism.

Admission is free and open to the public. It’s happening Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at  at Hi-Desert Artists Gallery, 55635 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley.
