Twentynine Palms woman accused of breaking car windows and making threats with a baseball bat

A woman on probation was arrested on suspicion of threatening to kill a Twentynine Palms woman with a baseball bat.

On Friday (June 12) at around 8:28 a.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault in the 74800 block of Alta Loma Drive in Twentynine Palms. Deputies say that Kristin Brock Jonez, 44, was outside of the home swinging a baseball bat and threatening a woman inside the home, saying she would “kill her.” Jonez also reportedly used the bat to break windows in the victim’s parked car.

The victim called 911 from inside the home and deputies arrived to see Brock Jonez swinging the baseball bat. Brock Jonez was taken into custody and found to be on felony probation for a 2024 incident in which she led law enforcement on a vehicular pursuit.

Kristin Brock Jonez was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, making criminal threats, felony vandalism, and violating the terms of her probation. She is being held at the West Valley Detention Center without bail.
