Work dispute leads to an alleged assault and arrest for Twentynine Palms man

A Twentynine Palms Man was arrested for alleged assault over a work dispute. On Thursday, October 22nd at around 8:15 p.m the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call reporting an assault in the 500 block of Bluegrass Avenue in Twentynine Palms.

The Sheriff’s Department says the victim and Roberto Anari, 33, were in a verbal dispute concerning work being done on the property. Anari reportedly became upset and punched the victim several times. Anari was arrested on scene, and the victim was transported to the High Desert Medical Center for treatment for minor injuries.

Roberto Anari of Twentynine Palms was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently being held at the West Valley Detention Center on 40,000 dollars bail.
