Suspect arrested in 2024 Twentynine Palms sexual abuse case
A man accused of raping a young child in 2024 was arrested last week.
San Bernardino County records indicate that Isaac Carrillo, 28, was arrested on July 1 at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Headquarters in the City of San Bernardino. The Sheriff’s Department did not clarify whether Carrillo turned himself in at their headquarters or if he was transferred to their custody from another jurisdiction.
Carrillo was the subject of an active arrest warrant for investigation into three counts related to the sexual abuse and rape of a young child. He is facing two felony charges related to the rape of a child younger than 10 years old on August 1, 2024 in Twentynine Palms.
The Sheriff’s Department declined to provide any information about Carrillo’s arrest, saying that “information is not yet available.”
Isaac Carrillo was set for arraignment in San Bernardino County Superior Court on two felony charges of the sexual abuse of a child on Tuesday. Records show he did not appear at the arraignment. Carrillo remains in custody at the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held on $500,000 bail.
