Hi-Desert Artists Offers Six-Week Hands-On Youth and Family Art Program Featuring Drawing, Painting, and Ceramics
Hi-Desert Artists invites children and families to participate in a six-week immersive art experience that explores drawing, painting, and primitive ceramics through hands-on creative practice led by working artists.
Designed as both an introduction and an enrichment opportunity, each Saturday session combines demonstration, guided making, and a short show-and-tell, allowing participants to learn new techniques while building confidence in their own artistic expression. Parents are encouraged to attend and create alongside their children, making the class a shared creative experience.
The program runs Saturdays from July 11 through August 15, 9:00–11:00 a.m., and concludes with a special community celebration: a pit firing kiln opening and picnic on Sunday, August 16.
