Parts of SR-62 and Split Rock Avenue closed overnight in Twentynine Palms tonight (9/18)

Crews from CalTrans will be working overnight in Twentynine Palms.

The California Department of Transportation along with the Paradise Valley Maintenance crews will be conducting a grind a repaving operation on Twentynine Palms Highway between Cienega Drive and Utah Trail. The work will be conducted beginning Friday night (September 18) at 6:00 p.m. and continue through 6:00 a.m.

Expect lane closures in both directions.

Construction is happening this evening on Split Rock Avenue in Twentynine Palms.

Riverside Construction will be sending crew for overnight operations on the road between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The late hours are designed to minimize impacts to traffic.

They say to expect construction noise and bright lights.

Additional overnight work will be done in the area on Monday (September 21) and Tuesday (September 22).
