Mil-Tree’s “Writes of Passage: Stories of Service” begins on Sunday

Sign ups are now open for a new writing program organized by Mil-Tree. Called “Writes of Passage: Stories of Service,” the creative writing and storytelling program for veterans, service members, and civilians runs Sundays through March. Sponsored by the California Arts Council’s Community Impact Grant, the program will bring people together to explore stories of service, place, and lived experience – then transform them into written and spoken narratives. The hands-on workshops will feature a retreat, live performances, and a companion writing podcast, led by Renee Pickup and Z107.7’s own Gabriel Hart.

The program is free, but limited to 12 participants. It begins this Sunday (March 1)
