California Fish and Game Commission meet on Wednesday (8/12), Western Joshua Tree on agenda

The State of California’s Fish and Game Commission meets this week with the Western Joshua Tree on the agenda.

The two-day meeting will begin on Wednesday (August 12) and after agenda items focused on the preservation of the Morro Manzanita and the Western Spadefoot toad, the Commission will turn their attention to the Western Joshua Tree. They will receive a presentation from the Department and discuss updates to the Western Joshua Tree Conservation Plan. These updates are listed as Item 19 on the agenda, meaning they will be heard by the Commission on Thursday’s half of the meeting.

The California Fish and Game Commission meets Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at their headquarters in Sacramento.
