
Yucca Valley woman arrested for alleged child abuse
A Yucca Valley woman was arrested for investigation into charges related to child abuse.
On Wednesday (May 27) at around 3:00 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in the 6400 block of Hermosa Avenue in Yucca Valley.
The Sheriff’s Department says that a court appointed mandated reporter assigned to the children in the home reported an incident of abuse. The Sheriff’s Department identified the suspect as Alexandria Perry, 30. They say that she hit two children with an object. One of the children was her own, and the other is the child of her boyfriend. The children were checked by medical personnel and Perry was taken into custody.
Alexandria Perry was arrested for investigation into three charges related to child abuse. She was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and has since been released on bail.
