Remote Johnson Valley fire completely destroys mobile home

A mobile home was considered a total loss during a fire in Johnson Valley.

On Monday (June 1) at around 6:00 p.m., San Bernardino County Fire Crews responded to a report of a house fire in the 58000 block of Ocotillo Road in Johnson Valley. County Fire says that the fire was in a remote area, and by the time they arrived, the single-wide mobile home was a total loss. 100 feet of vegetation was also burning.

Three County fire engines responded to the scene, in addition to crews from CalFire. The blaze was extinguished by 8:00 p.m.

San Bernardino County Fire says no one was injured during the fire. The cause of the fire is not being investigated as suspicious.
