Yucca Valley man on probation arrested for suspected domestic battery

A man on probation was arrested after allegedly strangling a woman.

On Sunday (February 8) at around 7:45 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported domestic incident in the 56700 block of Zuni Trail in Yucca Valley. Deputies identified the suspect as Trevor Uprichard, 56 and they say he attempted to strangle a woman. The victim contacted the Sheriff’s Department, and deputies took Uprichard into custody at the scene. Deputies did not say whether the victim was treated for injuries. 

Uprichard is currently on probation after pleading guilty to a DUI causing injury in 2021.

Trevor Uprichard was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $250,000 bail.
