Yucca Valley man arrested for suspected motorcycle robbery at knifepoint

A man was arrested after allegedly stealing a motorcycle at knife point in Yucca Valley.
On Monday night (September 8) at around 8:10 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a dispatch call about an armed robbery at a residential home in the 56100 block of Yuma Trail in Yucca Valley.
The victim told deputies that Matthew Hinojosa, 31, held him at knife point and stole a motorcycle from his garage. Deputies located Hinojosa a few hours later at a home in the 7500 block of Acoma Trail in Yucca Valley, where he was taken into custody and the victim’s motorcycle was recovered.
Matthew Hinojosa was arrested on suspicion of robbery and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $50,000 bail.
