Undressed woman runs down highway in Yucca Valley to escape suspected domestic violence incident

After finding an undressed woman fleeing a domestic violence incident on the highway, one man was taken into custody for investigation into domestic violence and resisting arrest.
On Sunday (July 6), San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a woman in underwear running from a man on the road near the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Old Woman Springs Road in Yucca Valley.
Deputies say that the woman and the man were both in distress. They identified the man as Nathaniel Willey, 41, and say that he refused orders from deputies. Deputies say they used force to take him into custody without further incident.
During their investigation, deputies say that Willey and the victim were involved in an argument that turned physical, at which point the victim fled the scene.
Nathaniel Willey was arrested for investigation into domestic violence and resisting arrest, and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $60,000 bail.
