Twentynine Palms Water District meets today (11/19)

The Twentynine Palms Water District will hold their monthly meeting a week early, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
The board will discuss a rate study as required by Proposition 218, which mandates specific procedures to prevent unlawful rate hikes.
A mainline extension will be considered to a previously remote meter on Calle Todd Lane in Twentynine Palms. There is ample pressure for this extension.
An ad hoc committee is to be formed regarding shared services with other organizations.
There will be a discussion on the possible detrimental effects of improperly maintained septic systems on shallow groundwater aquifers.
Located at 72401 Hatch Road, the meeting begins at 4:00 p.m. today, (11/19).
