The Twentynine Palms Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the annual Community Holiday Light Parade and Tree Lighting Tuesday, December 7. The Light Parade will begin at 5:30 pm on Adobe Rd. near the Desert Trail Newspaper and will end at Sun Valley Drive.
The Tree Lighting will then take place at Veteran’s Park, 6136 Adobe Road. Santa and the Snow Queen will be available for photos while the cast of “The Christmas Carol” from Theater 29 will provide holiday entertainment. Starbucks will provide free hot chocolate and coffee and Kiwanis 29 Palms will supply cookies. Your local community radio station, Z107.7FM, will emcee the parade and provide a holiday soundtrack.
