Visit 29 accepting applications for 2026 events and programming grants

Visit 29 Palms is accepting applications for funding for events happening in Twentynine Palms between July 1 and December 31. 

Visit 29 Palms provides financial support to events and programming that will bring tourism to Twentynine Palms. The program is put together by the City of Twentynine Palms and their Tourism Improvement District, which hopes to support “bold and creative events that showcase the city’s unique character while attracting overnight visitors.”

Visit 29 Palms offers sponsorships of between $100 to $3,000 for events, and grants for events between $3,0000 and $20,000. 

Event producers interested in hosting events in Twentynine Palms are invited to attend an informational workshop to learn more about the Sponsorship and Event Grant Program. The workshop will take place at the City of 29 Palms Visitor Center, 73484 Twentynine Palms Highway, on Friday (March 13) at 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Visit 29 Palms staff and members of the TBID Advisory Board will provide an overview of the program’s goals, funding opportunities and application requirements. The session will conclude with time for questions and discussion. 

The current open application period will fund programming scheduled between July 1 and December 31, 2026.
