TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF RECKLESS EVASION FOLLOWING PURSUIT WITH DEPUTIES

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Saturday morning (July 3) for reckless evasion following a short pursuit with deputies. According to Sheriff’s reports, a deputy attempted a traffic stop on a black 2004 Suzuki motorcycle near Cactus Drive for excessive speeding and having an obstructed license plate. The driver, later identified as Jason Lamore, 36, failed to yield, ran a stop sign, and lead the deputy on a 2 mile pursuit. Lamore lost control of the motorcycle and laid it down near the intersection of Bullion Avenue and Old Dale Road. Deputies detained Lamore. Jason Lamore was arrested for investigation of reckless evasion of an officer and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $100,000.
