Twentynine Palms Ladycats volleyball vs. Rancho Mirage highlights and scores

The Twentynine Palms Ladycats volleyball teams played the Rattlers of Rancho Mirage Thursday night (August 21) 

Due to time restraints, JV was only able to play two sets and the cats split; 25-20 and 9-15. Gena Bilderain had one kill and served up three ace serves. Havanna Horta had two kills, served up one ace and had one assist. Chessa Robinson had two kills and three assists.

In varsity action, the cats beat the rattlers in three; 25-19, 25-21 and 25-23.  Seniors Vivian Grunt and Berlyn McCormick both served up four ace serves and held the back down. Junior Sabrina Graham was huge at the net with three blocks. Sophomore Tallulah Coleman put down four kills and had one solo block. Senior Lily Romero Gonzalez served up three ace serves, had two kills, and three assists. Junior Leilani Stratton and Senior Emma Avalos played solid defense.

The cats are now 2-3 overall and host the Broncos of Banning on Wednesday (August 26) with JV starting at 4 p.m.
