TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS TEAM BEATS COACHELLA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycat varsity tennis team traveled to Coachella Valley High School Thursday. The Ladycats came away with the Win, 11 to 7. In singles action, the Ladycats were led by Alicia Gilchrist and Tamesha Jefferson, who both won two of their sets, while Shaelita Chestinut won one of her sets. In doubles action, the Ladycats were led by the team of Danny Morrissey/Alexis Soster, who swept all three of their sets, while the team of Saniyah Solwazi/Rosalind Carrllo won two of their sets, and the team of Emma Romano/Natalie Norton won one of their sets. The Ladycats improved their league record to 5 and 1. The Ladycats travel to Yucca Valley on Tuesday and host Rancho Mirage on Thursday.
