Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats vs. Indio scores and highlights

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats girls volleyball team played against Indio High School Thursday night but came up short of the win. 

JV lost in 3 sets; 25-16, 25-27, and 11-15.  Alexis Archleta put down seven kills, served up four ace serves and had seven assists.  Arabella Staggs put down four kills, had two blocks and one ace.  Tallulah Coleman had four kills and three ace serves.  Mackenzie Hamilton had four kills.

In Varsity the Cats lost the first set 17-25, rallied back the second set to win 25-22, dropped the third set 13-25, won in fourth set 25-23 after playing though an injury, and just came up short on the fifth set 9-15.  These sets were point for point and the cats fought hard and never let up.  Senior Violet Graham put down eight kills, had 10 touches and three digs.  Freshman Jada Nelson put down seven kills, had two touches, one ace serve, and six digs.  Sophomore Eva Tili had three kills, three huge blocks, and six touches.  Junior Berlyn McCormick had three kills, two digs, and three aces.  Junior Libero Vivian Grunt served up two ace serves and had solid defense with 22 digs.
