Joshua Tree man arrested for suspected domestic battery, victim being treated for head injury
A man was arrested for investigation into domestic battery after his partner was treated for injuries at Hi-Desert Medical Center (HDMC).
On Tuesday (September 23) at around 11:00 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of domestic violence at HDMC in Joshua Tree. Deputies arrived and say they found the female victim suffering from injuries to her neck and head. The victim told deputies she was choked and struck in the head by the suspect. Deputies identified as Christopher Lafflin, 24. Lafflin was taken into custody at the hospital.
Christopher Lafflin was arrested for investigation into domestic battery and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $250,000.
