Today (5/11) is the final day to registers for 75th Grubstake Days

Grubstake Days is coming to the hi-desert on Memorial Day weekend. It’s the 75th year for the annual event, and Monday (May 11) is the final day to register for a few of the events. 

The Tug-o-War contest, in which teams of up to 10 people compete to yank rope harder than the other team is happening on May 23. You can register through the end of Monday. Registration for the Tug-o-War is $75 per team. 

Other events happening at Grubstake Days include a horseshoe context, beard contest, and the Little Miss and Miner Pageants. Registration remains open for those contests. 

Grubstake Days is happening May 21 through May 24, and will also feature cookouts, breakfasts, live music, dancing and carnival. You can visit YuccaValley.org for more information and registration.
