This Friday (10/9) Z107.7 will continue our series of local candidate forums. For Morongo Unified School District Area 1, covering parts of Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree, Ruben Rodriguez and Vadim Altschuler are running against incumbent Melissa Bond.

The elected trustee will serve two years to complete a term first won by Karalee Hargrove, who resigned in May. Bond was appointed to the board pending the election. The three candidates will introduce themselves to host Gary Daigneault and then answer questions about issues and challenges to the school district.

The school district candidates forum will air live on Z107.7 FM radio from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. this Friday and then will be podcast at z1077fm.com/podcasts.

You can see the previous candidate forums for the Yucca Valley Town Council and Twentynine Palms City Council at our election page: www.z1077fm.com/elections
