Morongo Basin Ambulance says “no changes” to service areas despite County area restructure

Morongo Basin Ambulance (MBA) issued a statement on Monday (August 10) clarifying recent changes to San Bernardino County’s ambulance service provider structure.

MBA Chief Craig Bell issued a statement saying that there will be no changes to the MBA’s services or service area. American Medical Response (AMR) has transitioned service to CONFIRE in other portions of San Bernardino County, and Chief Bell said that Morongo Basin Ambulance remains the local ambulance provider within its established Exclusive Operating Areas.

MBA continues to serve EOAs 14 and 15 and remains committed to providing the same high-quality 911 emergency medical care the community has relied on for generations.
