MOJAVELAND mini-golf maven Anna Stump on “Up Close Show” on Friday (9/4)

Since 2021 “MOJAVELAND”, an art installation based on miniature golf holes, has been delighting both players and art aficionados at various location in the Twentynine Palms area.

This week, after six years of planning, design, and jumping through municipal hoops, they broke ground on their new permanent location on Sullivan Road behind Theatre 29.

The founder and ball of energy behind the project, Anna Stump, will be the guest on the Z107.7 “Up Close” show. Stump will talk with host Gay Daigneault about what Mojaveland is, what it offers to the Morongo Basin, and the journey from inception to reality.

The show will air live this Friday (9/4) at 107.7 FM from 10-11am and then as a podcast later that day.

Gary Daigneault has been a broadcast journalist for 45 years with awards and citations from the Associated Press, National Association of Broadcasters, Radio-Television News Association, Radio Inc. Magazine, five “Golden Mic” and four “Mark Twain” awards. In 2010 he was inducted into the Associated Press Hall of Fame. Daigneault taught Broadcasting for 27 years. He is President of Theatre 29, six term Past-President of Rotary Clubs, Past-President of Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree Chambers of Commerce and chaired the Joshua Tree National Park Commission. Gary and wife Cindy live in Twentynine Palms since 1979. They have two children and five grandchildren.
