Missing Yucca Valley juvenile found, charged with vandalism

A juvenile reported as missing returned home to their home in Yucca Valley to face arrest for vandalism.

On Sunday (November 16) at around 10:45 a.m., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department says that a juvenile who had earlier been reported missing was identified as a suspect in a crime. The victim told deputies that a window in her home had been broken and three tires on her car were slashed. The victim shared security video footage with deputies and the missing juvenile was considered to be a suspect.

Deputies were able to locate the juvenile. They were arrested and cited for suspicion of vandalism and released to the custody of a family member.
