On Sunday, October 29, at 4 P.M. Lifetree Café will present the free program, titled “Mysteries of Mental Illness: One woman’s struggle to regain her life,” it features a filmed interview with Karen McCracken, the author of “Breaking Free From OCD”, who has lived with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder for as long as she can remember. Participants in this discussion will look at how to recognize if mental health issues are significant enough to seek help and how to help friends who have mental illness. Lifetree Café is located in Twentynine Palms behind Little Church of the Desert at Veterans Way and Ocotillo Avenue.
