Landers Homestead Valley Association meets tonight to talk about Thanksgiving dinner

The Landers Homestead Valley Association is a community non-profit representing residents from the Landers area as well as the unincorporated communities of Johnson Valley, Yucca Mesa and Flamingo Heights. This month‘s meeting attendees will hear reports from representatives from the County, law enforcement, emergency services and others.

Much of the meeting will likely cover the Thanksgiving dinner, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday November 15th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Belfield Hall. Focused on the elderly, disabled and needy families in the area, this dinner event will be asking for volunteers. Drivers are needed to deliver meals to housebound members and transport neighbors to the venue. Turkey carvers and clean up crews would be most appreciated and of course financial assistance is always very welcome. RSVP at 760-449-4048.

Located at Belfield Hall, 58380 Reche Road in Landers, the Association meeting is on Monday November 10th and begins at 5:00p.m.
