Ladycats Volleyball vs. Cathedral City Lions scores and highlights

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats volleyball teams hosted the Lions of Cathedral City on Monday (September 14). 

JV lost in two 16-25 and 19-25. Mackenzie Hamilton put down four kills and had one assist. Chessa Robinson put down three kills, one ace and had six assists. Gena Bilderain served up three aces and had one kill. 

In varsity action, the cats won in four; 13-25, 25-10, 25-13, and 25-15. Senior Vivian Grunt served up 12 aces, put down seven kills and had three assists.  Sophomore Jada Nelson put down seven kills, one ace, had one block and 11 assists. Sophomore Tallulah Coleman put down seven kills, had one block, and two assists. Senior Lily Romero served up four aces, had four kills, two assists and played solid defense. 

The Ladycats are now 1-0 in league and travel to Desert Mirage on Wednesday (September 16) to take on the Rams.
