Ladycats volleyball teams bowl over Banning Broncos on Wednesday

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats volleyball teams beat the Broncos of Banning High School Wednesday night (August 26).

Junior Varsity won 25-16 and 25-19.  Mackenzie Hamilton was big at the net with four kills and served up four aces.  Chessa Robinson served up five ace serves, had one kill and four assists.  Audrina McConville served up five ace serves and had one kill.

The Varsity cats won 25-9, 25-12, lost the third 9-25 and won the fourth 26-24.  Sophomores Jada Nelson and  Tallulah Coleman led the team at the  net with nine kills each.  Senior Vivian Grunt served up eight ace serves, had two kills and played solid defense.  Junior Sabrina Graham put down three kills and had two blocks..  Senior Lily Romero Gonzalez had three kills, one block, and four assists.  Senior Berlyn McCormick served up an ace serve deep into the fourth match to give the cats the lead and played solid defense.

The Ladycats are now 3-3 overall and travel to Riverside Prep on September 1.
