
Two arrested for investigation into batteries in Twentynine Palms
Two women were arrested in Twentynine Palms on suspicion of aggravated battery.
On Monday (August 24) at around 8:05 a.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an attack in the 73700 block of Raymond Way in Twentynine Palms. The victim told deputies that they were attacked by two people on August 18. The victim was suffering from bodily injuries and a fractured jaw, and declined further medical treatment.
Deputies identified the suspects in the attack as Goldruthee Crummie, 28, and Destiny Dedmon, 27, both residents of the same address on Raymond Way. They were taken into custody at around 1:00 p.m. Crummie was found to have an active warrant in Los Angeles County.
Goldruthee Crummie and Destiny Dedmon were arrested on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury and are each being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $40,000 bail.
