Enlisted Marine arrested for investigation into possession of child sex abuse material

An enlisted Marine assigned to the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Base in Twentynine Palms was arrested on suspicion of possessing child sex abuse material.

On September 19, 2025, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received a tip regarding suspected child sex abuse material. The NCMEC shared the tip with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, who began an investigation based on the tip.

On May 19 at around 12:30 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies served an arrest warrant on the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms. The address listed by dispatch was 3400 Adobe Road. 

Deputies identified the suspect as Oakley Goodfellow, 22, an enlisted marine. He was taken into custody.

Z107.7 News contacted officials with the Marine Corps for additional details related to this investigation, but as of May 29 did not receive a response.

Oakley Goodfellow was arrested on suspicion of possessing child sex abuse material. He was arraigned on the charges later that day, and entered a plea of “not guilty.” He is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $100,00 bail.
