County BOS Agenda: Special road districts in unincorporated areas could be dissolved

The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors meets in regular session on Tuesday (October 6).

On the agenda is the expected approval of co-funding for a Yucca Valley road project. The County may contribute $48,000 towards a pavement rehabilitation project on Aberdeen Drive. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $3,217,000.

The Board is expected to adopt a resolution of intent to dissolve special roads districts in Landers, Flamingo Heights, and Yucca Mesa. Residents voted against further funding for these special roads districts in elections earlier in 2026. There will be a final hearing at the Board of Supervisors meeting on November 17 on this resolution, prior to the final dissolution of these road districts.

The County Board of Supervisors meets Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at their chambers at 385 North Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino.

Live and archived meeting videos can be viewed at https://main.sbcounty.gov/county-meetings-events/ or via the San Bernardino County YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@SBCountyPIO/streams.
