Brush fire ignites in Landers, quickly extinguished by firefighters (4/22)

A small fire burned in Landers on Wednesday, though it was quickly extinguished with no injury. 

At around 2:24 p.m, 911 received a call about a fire burning in the 700 block of Inca Trail in Landers. Crews from San Bernardino County Fire and CalFire responded to the scene. County Fire described it as a one-acre brush fire with a slow rate of spread, posing limited threat to any homes or structures.

Cal Fire reported that the forward rate of spread was stopped by 4:00 p.m. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
