HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION EVENT NEXT WEEK

On Saturday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the San Bernardino County Fire Department will host a drive-through household hazardous waste collection at the Yucca Valley Community Center. Any San Bernardino County resident can attend the collection as long as the waste is from their home, Identification is required. Waste must be properly labeled and in its original container. Containers cannot be larger than 5 gallons and there is a limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per trip.

Drop off items such as antifreeze, electronics, batteries, oil, oil filters, cosmetics, pesticides, and much more.

Transport no more than 15 gallons or 125 pounds in containers larger than 5 gallons with lids. Containers must be sound and not leaking.

No business waste, tires, yard waste, asbestos, and solid waste will be accepted. Masks are required.

Please have all waste in the back of the vehicle. (Except sharps/needles should be with driver)
