Yucca Valley Swap Meet looks for new home after final Saturday sale (11/15)

Saturday (November 15) is the final day for the Yucca Valley Swap Meet. The swap meet has been operating out of the parking lot of Yucca Valley High School, but as Z107.7’s Gabriel Hart reported, the agreement with the Morongo Unified School District was not renewed beyond Saturday.

When asked for comment, MUSD’s public information officer Jene Estrada told Hart that “The agreement between the District and the swap meet organizers was on a month-to-month basis. The swap meet places significant demands on the MUSD custodial team and often conflicts with programs such as Saturday school and weekend campus operations.”

The Yucca Valley Swap Meet is holding their final swap meet, part of a closing event featuring free food and drinks, from 7:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Yucca Valley High School Parking Lot.
