A Yucca Valley man was arrested early Friday morning after he was found with a loaded gun in his car. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped the vehicle about 6:10 a.m. Friday near Hopi Trail and 29 Palms Highway for a traffic violation. During a search of the vehicle, the driver, Aaron Trofler, 41, admitted that he had hidden a bag of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the car, as well as a loaded glock pistol in the center console. Aaron Trofler was arrested for investigation of being in possession of a dangerous weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
