YUCCA VALLEY FELON FOUND WITH STOLEN SHOTGUN

A Yucca Valley man was arrested early Monday morning after he was found with a stolen shotgun. About 12:45 a.m., deputies made a traffic stop on a black Ford Mustang near Paxton Road and Balsa Avenue in Yucca Valley. The driver, Norman Jordan, 47, is a convicted felon, and deputies searched the car where they found a stolen Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun in the back seat. Norman Jordan was arrested for investigation of being a felon in possession of a firearm, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
