A convicted felon and sex offender was arrested in Yucca Valley Wednesday, accused of dealing drugs and being in possession of multiple firearms and ammunition. Deputies from the Yucca Valley Multiple Enforcement Team learned that Terry Beaver, 51, of the 55500 block of 29 Palms Highway in Yucca Valley was selling methamphetamine. Deputies got a search warrant for Beaver’s home and a storage locker near his residence, and on Wednesday, about 9:15 a.m., deputies executed the search warrants. During the search, deputies found methamphetamine, an AR-15 rifle, body armor, throwing stars, mace, and a spud gun. In the storage locker, deputies found a pound of methamphetamine, eight more rifles—including an AK-47, two AR-15s, .22-caliber rifles, and a shotgun, as well as several ammunition canisters containing thousands of rounds of ammunition. Terry Beaver was arrested for investigation of being a felon in possession of firearms, ammunition, and body armor; and possession of a controlled substance for sales. Terry Beaver was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $100,000.
