A Yucca Valley man originally arrested for making criminal threats had additional charges of firearm and controlled substance possession added to his list of charges following a Sheriff’s search of his property. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies assigned to the Yucca Valley Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) followed up on an investigation into criminal threats. A warrant was issued for Troy Baccus, 31 of Yucca Valley for making criminal threats. Baccus was contacted and arrested for his active warrant.
During the investigation, deputies developed additional information and a search warrant was authored for Baccus’ residence in the 7400 block of Church Street in Yucca Valley. while serving the search warrant Thursday (September 2) Deputies located evidence of sales of controlled substance. There was several firearms and ammunition located at the residence. Baccus was arrested on his warrant for making Criminal Threats, possession of controlled substance for sale, and possession of controlled substance while armed. Baccus was arrested without incident and was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $200,000.
