The town of Yucca Valley has opened registration for their Healthy Hearts 5k Run and 2k Community Health Walk, scheduled for Saturday, February 25.
The annual event coincides with National Heart Month, and is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. The event begins and ends at Essig Park, and the course stays on paved roads as it winds through one of Yucca Valley’s family friendly neighborhoods, finishing with a picturesque view of the valley and mountains beyond.
The run will start at 9:00 a.m. sharp, rain or shine.
Registration is $25 and can be done online at www.yucca-valley.org or in person at the Yucca Valley Community Center.
