Youth Orchestra Joshua Tree will be presenting, “A Holiday Concert” Saturday, November 28th at 5pm on the Theatre 29 mainstage in Twentynine Palms.  The event promises “haunting” Halloween Tunes, “Joyous” Christmas Carols and an array of upbeat Orchestral numbers just in time for the holiday season.

According to the founder, Deborah Klak-Amador, Youth Orchestra Joshua Tree was founded in 2018 and is based in Joshua Tree. She teaches kids aged 4-18 skills in violin, cello, piano, ukulele and an introductory music class for her youngest students.

A classically trained violinist, this Swiss native studied at DePauw University, UC Irvine and USC. After a fulfilling freelance career in Los Angeles playing in orchestras, film recording studios and touring the world with music, she and her young family moved to Joshua Tree for a quieter life. As a youth musical educator for many years, she saw an opportunity to do so here in the Morongo Basin.

Youth Orchestra Joshua Tree is a great group of talented musicians that has grown together and has shown that talent, hard work and discipline in learning how to read and make music together can happen anywhere.  Come witness these talented young musicians for yourself. Tickets are available now at theatre29.org.
