Wonder Valley man on probation arrested for suspected battery using laundry detergent

A man on probation was arrested after allegedly pouring detergent into his girlfriend’s eyes.

On Friday (October 24) at around 10:10 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the 80500 block of Sandale Road in Wonder Valley. Deputies say the victim called 911 after her significant other poured detergent into her eyes. Deputies identified the suspect as David Telles, 34. The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene. Telles was found to be on felony probation.

David Telles was arrested on suspicion of battery, domestic violence, and parole violation, and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center without bail.
