WOMAN LOSES CASH BACK TO THIEF AT WAL-MART

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a case of petty theft at Walmart Wednesday evening. According to a report, the victim was using the self-checkout register about 4:30 p.m. and requested $100 in cash back. The register did not dispense the $100, and so the woman left the cash register to get a manager. The manager reviewed the tape and said a man took money from the register as soon as the victim walked away. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
