A former Yucca Valley woman was arrested in Yucca Valley early Sunday morning (February 21) for suspicion of felony possession of a firearm. During a traffic stop near Wallaby Street and Duarte Lane, Carissa Bustios, 44, who now lives in Henderson, Nevada, was found to have an expired driver’s license and to be in possession of a rifle and ammunition, which she is prohibited from owning. Sheriff Deputies arrested Bustios for suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Carissa Bustios was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $50,000.
