WEDNESDAY NIGHT FIRE IN YUCCA VALLEY WAS A DRUG LAB

We have more information about a fire in Yucca Valley Wednesday night that left residents homeless. The Sheriff’s Department reports that the home in the 7700 block of Deer Trail was a drug lab. Investigators say the yard was littered with butane canisters and the canisters could be heard exploding inside the home. A walk through the home after the fire was out revealed marijuana and equipment used to make butane honey oil. The suspects were gone when deputies arrived. Firefighters were called to the home just before 7 p.m. and found the house fully involved with flames and smoke. Anyone with more information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
